NES Fircroft is looking for Principal Geoscientist for one of large Mining Projects to Almaty 5/2

Requirements:
- Qualifications in Geoscience or equivalent required
- A passionate desire to participate in discovery and development of projects
- Solid experience in similar roles or in specialist field, e.g. geotechnical, hydrogeological or geophysically derived geotechnical data.
Demonstrated leadership experience
Copper Porphyry experience is essential.
Knowledge and understanding of the economic, technical and competitive factors relevant to the commodity, and the ability to apply knowledge of these factors to recognize potential risks and opportunities
• Practical and demonstrated experience to manage technical drilling programmes, i.e. campaigns to deliver geotechnical or hydrogeological outcomes
• Leadership skills, particularly the ability to develop and mentor technical teams. Along with managing multiple projects in a complex and expanding environment
• Strong communication and influencing skills including the ability to write recommendations and reports for management and present information for a range of stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, Russian
